Spotkania ze studentami w ramach projektu AIESEC

W dniach od 19 do 30 września br. gośćmi naszego gimnazjum byli studenci z Indii i Egiptu, którzy przyjechali do Polski  w ramach projektu "KidSpeak"  Międzynarodowego Stowarzyszenia Młodzieży AIESEC.

Bhavik i Mohamed opowiedzieli nam o swoich krajach, a także przygotowali ciekawe filmiki oraz prezentacje multimedialne. Gimnazjaliści mieli okazję porozmawiać ze studentami w języku angielskim, zapoznać się ze  starożytnymi kulturami Bliskiego oraz Dalekiego Wschodu oraz odkryć tajniki języków:  hindi oraz arabskiego. Zwycięzcom quizów wiedzy o Indiach i Egipcie przypadła w udziale słodka nagroda.

Interview with Mohamed from Egypt

Hello, we would like to ask you a couple of questions about you and your country.

M: Sure.

What is your name?

M: My name is Mohamed.

How old are you?

M: I am 27.

What have you seen in Poland?

M: I visited Wawel Castle and Zakopane.

What do you like about our country?

M: I like Polish lifestyle.

How does your daily routine look like?

M: I wake up at 6 and go to work from 7 to  4 p.m.

What is your job?

M: I am an electronic engineer.

What is your favourite sport?

M:  I love football.

What is your favourite music?

M: I like oriental music.

What is your favourite food?

M: My favourite food is koshari.

Have you got a pet?

M: No, I haven’t.

What is your favourite book?

M: I like physics books.

What is your favourite film?

M: It is “Beautiful Mind”.

And your favourite actor?

M: I like Russell Crowe.

What was your favourite game when you were a child?

M: It was football.

Can you swim?

M: No, I can’t but I like jet- skiing.

Do you know any Polish words?

M: Yes, I can say: cześć, dzień dobry, nie, tak, dziękuję, Polska, Kraków and Warszawa.

Interview with Bhavik from India

Hello, we would like to ask you a couple of questions about you and your country.

B: Of course.

First, what is your name?

B: I am Bhavik Bhansali.

How old are you?

B: I am 22.

Have you got any brothers or sisters?

B: Yes, I have a sister. Her name is Ayushi.

How long have you stayed  in Poland?

B: I came 10 days ago and I am staying for 30 days.

Do you like Cracow?

B: Yes, I like Cracow very much. It’s a beautiful city.

What is your favourite place in Cracow?

B: I like the Main Square and Wisła.

What is your hobby and what do you like doing in your free time?

B: I like playing cricket and snooker. Also, I like talking to people, reading books and watching films.  

     My favourite movie is “The Three Idiots”.

And what kind of books do you like?

B: I like reading books about business and marketing.

Can you speak other languages besides English?

B: I can speak Hindi and a few Polish words.

What kind of music do you prefer?

B: I like Indian music.

Who is your favourite singer?

B: It is Atif Aslam. He is from Pakistan but he sings in Hindi language.

Have you got a girlfriend?

B: I used to have. Her name was Nikita.

Do you like travelling?

B: When I was in India I didn’t like travelling but now I do.

What is your favourite animal?

B: I like dogs.

And your favourite colour?

B: It is black.

What is your favourite season?

B: I like winter very much. In India we don’t have snow but I like snow.

When do children start and finish obligatory education in India?

B: They start school when they are 6 and finish when they are 15.
